Maasai Mentoring Group is a Mentorship program for Black young men between the age of 7-18 yrs with the goal of creating a positive space assisting with placing participants in the best position possible for future success. The mentorship program will incorporate leadership, skills training, podcasting, gaming, mentoring, book club, music, poetry, health & wellness, journaling, photography and much more.
The guidance provided by this initiative will inspire the next generation to impact their own lives, their families and their community. These participants will soon become leaders and role models sustaining the project for multiple generations
Maasai Mentoring Group has been produced in partnership with Svens Telemaque. Svens is a self-directed, compassionate, dedicated young professional. He is service-focused with a genuine
interest in fostering children’s cognitive and social growth. He also has a strong commitment to serving the welfare of others by providing support and resources to the high-risk and disadvantaged population at large. He has a proven ability to establish exceptional rapport, trust and loyalty with clients across diverse cultural lines. He is highly-polished communicator with demonstrated interpersonal qualities.
